You collect flowers here by logging in using the site in various ways. We can give you flowers just to say thanks, good response and etc.

That has been explained to me several times but I have senior moments and forget how it all works. Maybe some one can tell us if there is something on Cute website that we can keep referring to.

The flowers are a fun thing. We give them to each other by clicking on the green flower which will turn it orange (in projects from orange to grey). The number by your name is the total you have collected and the number by the flower is for that post. It is only a fun thing and has no other purpose.
