Hi Julia,

It's just way of thanking someone for a design, a reply to a post or just for being nice to someone. Each time you log on to this site you get a flower too. I hope to see your garden growing more and more. The more you comment, the more your garden grows. Welcome to the best embroidery site in the world. Love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia

P.S. have a look at this post by Paolalinus

I see you have your answer - but I also wanted to tell you - that is the #1 question and it always gets lots of answers - as the flowers are for free and for fun - they allow us to give to one and another in the CUTE family. So here is one for you. *4U

Each member can click on the flower in a comment or a posting - in the community section - the flower is a green outline and it changes to orange with clicked on - it is a way to say thank you - I liked what you said or something of that nature. In the project section - the flower is in the same location and it is orange to start out and you click on it and it turns gray. It also says thanks and the number under the screen name usually changes. You get a flower for also signing in once in a 24 hour period.
