here is another of the quilts I have made this year, and you were so good at helping name the Japanese quilt , can I please get some help with naming this one.My hubby sugested "Tip Toe", its a huge quilt fitting well on a queens size bed.I made it in our Thursday class,all the other girls used lots of pinks and violets ,I just wanted to be different, so chose lots of bright colours ,the colours of tulips

My first thought was "Dutch Treat". So much more detail than the tulip quilt I made years ago. I really like this piecing.

Wasn't it Tiny Tim that sang Tip-Toe through the Tulips? Or maybe I got the wrong name.... The quilt is beautiful so whatever name you choose, you can't go wrong with tulips in the name!

During the mid-'90s, Tim raised his public profile with appearances on the Conan O'Brien and Howard Stern shows; however, in September of 1996, he suffered a heart attack while performing at a ukulele festival in Massachusetts. Upon his release from the hospital, Tim resumed his concert schedule, but sadly, on November 30, he suffered another heart attack in Minneapolis while performing "Tip-Toe Through the Tulips," and died an hour later.
