I don't have a tablet yet, but I have heard that the Wacom bambo tablet is the "Bomb"...expecially for embroidery softwares. It is large enough for home and small enough for travel....

Looks like we can be dummies together! I have no idea what it is either so I'm going to finish up here and go "google" it. Hugs..Carol
Portable screen with a pen or mouse that you attach to the computer and use flat or standing for artwork, writing etc. easier to use than the computer screen

If you have unlimited funds the Wacom Intuos4 is amazing but if you are looking for something more reasonable then the Wacom Bamboo will do the job just fine. Hope that is helpful.

Why not take a look at digital pens - you don't need a tablet as you can 'draw' on any paper. My pen (iNote) uses ordinary pen refills and has a small receiver which clips onto the pad. The pen acts as a mouse when connected to the pc via the usb lead supplied, so you can use it when you are digitizing too - tracing sketches works really well, (or anything else you wish to do). They are cheaper than tablets, and much easier to use - I have both! Amazon has several listed with interesting reviews, and I ended up buying one on ebay which was new...
