Tomorrow my grandson will be 4 years old and started dance classes last week (ballet, tap and jazz). So for his birthday I made him a dance bag, quite easy to do. But I did have a lot of help from a wonderful tutorial. Here is the link: http://www.saltwater-kids.com/2008/10/retro-duffel-bag-tutorial.html#comment-form
Not sure how to do 2 photos so will just say that his name is embroidered on the other side. :)

You did a great job on your grandson's dance bag. I'm sure he will treasure it all the more because YOU made it especially for him :) Charlotte

Remember when you were asking for ideas for his bag. It turned out real nice. Looks to be a good size bag and like how the handles are stitched on.

What a great bag you finally made for your GS Sherry. It is wonderful that you found a pattern and thank you for sharing it with as, too. Great work. Shirlene

I am sure your grandson will love this duffle bag. Great job. I am partial to animal prints. Would love one for myself. ~Carolyn~

Thank you all so very much for all your compliments. The bag is not as big as it looks. Gave the bag to Teddy for his birthday and he loved it, he can't wait to show all the girls at dance class the bag his nana made for him. Now to work on a zipper tag to make it easier to open the bag for him. He is off to dance class and now I just have the twins to watch .... they are definitely a handful today. Thank you again and I hope you all have a wonderful night! Lots of Hugs! ~ Sherry ~
