Had my mother over to stay the night on Sunday, made her lunch and dinner, cut and colored her hair, embroidered this shirt, made dinner for her, then took her to my dental office to clean her teeth on Monday. (Daughterly duties)She loves music and picked out this awesome mylar design from Augua Santa website for her shirt. She enjoyed watching my machine work, and also picking out the thread colors. I love mylar. The photo doesn't show the reflexions well but the blue thread with the bluish mylar from the dollar store turned out fabulous. Check out Augua Santa's site for many mylar designs. LOVE THEM!!!

I try to do what I can, she has many medical issues along with obesity which makes it difficult for her. I want her to have what I have. I cannot make her young again though. Years ago she used to sing in a band, and also for the church choir. She doesn't anymore but she still loves music. Thank you

What a sweet thing to do for your mother. Wish mine was still living to do something special for her. Her shirt is beautiful and her smile is amazing.

You have a lovely Mother with a lovely name! I say that because it is also my first name, but I go by the middle one.My GM's name was Etta. I also still have my Mother, my Dad passed away a few years ago. She still lives alone, but all 4 of her children live close by. I know I will really miss her when she is gone, so I try really hard to do as much with her as I can. You will not be sorry for taking the time to pamper her. The shirt is so nice, I also like to stitch using mylar.

Thank you Etta (middle one) he he! So sorry about your father, mine passed away in 2009, so I do know the feeling of losing a parent. It is not easy. I just try to focuss on the good memories!!!
