I had told my husband about my post, and your responses, and that Meganne spoke up and offered her assistance. He said he thought that was great, and started looking for pictures right away. Our nephew (it is actually HIS nephew) was in the hospital again, and he was speaking to his sister (the nephew - Mason, by the way -it is his mother) this morning. She was upset about his recent hospitalization and about the whole thing. My husband told me, after he hung up, that he never got the chance to tell her about the embroidery design. I said maybe today wasn't the best time. He agreed, about the design, but said your responses really touched him and he wanted her to know.
I got on just to tell you how much this means to him and see another post where you guys are pulling together and finding photos. You guys are just awesome! I will likely share this link, of your posts, with my husband. Just telling him your responses is not passing on the heart of what you are doing. It is very touching, and so very nice. I'm in awe, and I am honored that you would go to this trouble for me (and us).
Thank you. Sincerely.
Rebecca
A couple of days ago I sent you a picture of the design I have finished to see if it is to your liking.
Please check your emails and let me know whether you received it or not.
Oh what the heck, I'll upload a pic here for you to see, I haven't stitched it out yet as I wanted to make sure you liked it first.
Also, you forgot to tell me the size and format you need???
hugs n roses, Meganne
Mason was back in the hospital, a few days ago. They sent him home, and reinforced the message to get his affairs in order. They are talking about surgery, reconstructive. I don't know why, but am guessing he wanted to be back together at the end. I don't know. Sometimes he doesn't like to go into details, and I don't think his discomfort is worth satisfying my curiosity. We're worried. He's still in Florida, by himself. We thought he was coming home, and he did for a week and then went back home to pack. I just don't want him by himself, but it appears he needs a little alone time right now. We're going down in a few weeks, and we hope he'll let us bring him home. He's not unhappy with his family, but maybe he thinks if he delays coming up he will delay the end? I don't know, and I talk way too much. Sorry, Mason.
This picture is even better than what I requested. Thank you, Meganne.
I wanted to let you know too that I also send my prayers and thoughts to you all. Love and blessings Chris
I zoomed in on a lot to get a better idea of their details in order to create a better silhouette and I like to think I succeeded but it depends on whether or not this is what they want, it may not be because this was only my interpretation of how I would do it.
