Well, they say every things bigger in Texas but even here i have not seen that large a biscornu. You won't have any trouble finding your pins.

It is so pretty, too bad they don't use hat pins anymore, that would be great for that...I'm sure you will find a good use for it.

Carolyn, Looking at this photo, I can't really see how you have sewn it up. Looks as though you have been very generous with the wadding. Will find a link on how to sew up a biscornu. Hugs, Lyn

What about a 15 sided biscornu. http://www.gittas.com/FreeStuff/Instructions/15_sided_biscornu_finishing.pdf
The 15 sided one is amazing-way to hard for me.
The 15 sided one looks fantastic and not to difficult to make. Are you going to try it out? It is a lovely collection of tiny designs, could be done with machine embroidery of course, but this looks lovely. I wonder how big the squares are, at a guess some 4 cm (there are 20 cross stitches on each side, 5 crosses per cm). Which (roughly) would make a 10 x 10 cm biscornu, a nice generous size.
Lyn would be the one to do it- her biscornus
are beautiful.
are beautiful.

Looks great - haven't tried one yet so I can not comment on the size. Will still do.

I see you have your purples going. Very Nice.
Tonite I was sewing out napkin rings and after rinsing they looked like grape soda- I panicked looking all over to see if I had the right thread
and as it dried it was okay. Colors sure look different when wet.
Hugs,
Linda

So sorry Carolyn but I found this quite funny. The design is beautiful but what you will use it for is any ones guess. It would make a wonderful babies toy if the stitching is safe. Hugs Sarah.
