Hello! I'm a new-comer; and I'm just a little lost. :-) I have a Janome 350e machine and have checked their website and also the manual and am not sure which format to use for the download.

Newipswich, Welcome to a great site with wonderful friends. This is the very best place I have ever found, hope you stay with us long enough to find this out for yourself!! Your machine format uses .JEF. Ask any questions you need. There are many knowledgeable friends here. Hugs and flowers.

Thank you so much! I'll write that down in my manual. Just by reading some of the comments, I'm sure I will enjoy visiting here often (and hopefully be motivated to get to using my machine too. I've only done a couple of projects so far.) Thanks again for your help.

Thank you for the welcome! I sure have felt the support from even those who weren't sure about the format for my machine! Oh dear, it looks like this could be habit forming - logging in to say "hello". I'm sure as I go along, I'll have more questions. Thanks again.

newipswich, I have the Janome 350e, and you've made a really good choice in buying one. The girls are correct, it does use jef format. Hugs and a flower sweetie, and welcome, it's so good to see you here, and just *holler* if you need any more help.

You have already been given the answer JEF. I have had a Janame 300E for just over 1yr. and still working my way round the digitizerpro software, there's so much to learn. You'll love belonging to the Cute site. If there is something to get addicted to this is the site to blame for it :-):-)

Elenu, if you need any help with Digitizer Pro, I use it all the time, and have become pretty good at it thru trial & error. Help screens are kind of useless, unless you know what question to ask. Just give a holler. Marji

Hi, Newipswitch, I have had the Janome 300E for a while now, it's one step older that the 350, no color screen, but it's a fabulous machine, a real workhorse. I got the Janome Digitizer Pro also, so if you have any questions, Ruthie & I could probably help you. You'll never be sorry you got the 350E. But I do hope for your sake you have a good dealer that will take care of it, and you! A good dealer may be more important than a good husband, LOL LOL! Happy sewing, and welcome to our Cute Family! Marji

I hope you pick this up Marji, I want to 'pick your brain' already. I cannot find any reference to oiling the machine (if, indeed, you have to) My machine was soooo quiet until that dratted
anemone :-) so I wondered about the oil!!
