waited until it was good and dry -- floated another piece of the stabilizer under the hoop.....changed needles (for the second time) and I now have two pillow tops that sewed out just fine. One is the Noel one and the other is Peace with the wise men in the C........

I would never have imagined that a material that crisp and thightly woven would have taken that much stabilizer!

Whew! Thanks for all your help. I did try most of the suggestions.

I deserve some CHOCOLATE now! :)

When I finish the pillows I will post them in projects.
This material is a prettier green than it shows in the picture.
I plan to put a light golden and white trip around the pillows (and haven't puchased that yet) -- also trying to get ready for a trip... So I'm not sewing the pillows together until the end of Sept.

I also don't think I am going to be doing any emb until after that. I almost threw my machine out in the back yard! LOL (Not really, but after all my problems getting it fixed, then this puckering I am ready to take a break!)

I am so glad it worked out and led to success. I am also glad you posted it, because often we read about problems and with all the good advise I am often curious which one worked. ENJOY YOUR CHOCOLATE. :)

Starch to the rescue again. I sprayed my FSL butterflies from ChristieF today - rather I soaked them in starch. They look great! This is good information. Maybe it isn't always the design. Live, Laugh, Download, Stitch! christine

Well, there you go.... how's that for a Happy Ending.

I'm so glad you persevered. Now, in future you'll have all that knowledge under your belt to call upon should you be faced with another challenge.

Congratulations on not giving up and also on succeeding....... :}
