Hello I am new here and was wondering if anyone knew of a tutorial to help get me started with my pfaff creative 2, I am also new at embroidery. Thanks in advance. Hope I posted right.

Welcome to the Cute family.
If you bought your CV from a dealer they should have included some lessons to help you get started, failing that you need to read your User's Manual from cover to cover, preferably while sitting at your machine, so you can familiarise yourself with it.

Then I recommend you join a Yahoo Group that specialises in help for your machine.
I have added links to two of them below.

Nothing stopping you from joining both then staying with the one that gives you the best help.

Other than that there should be other Cuties along shortly who may be able to help you further.
hugs and roses, Meganne

Welcome to Cute, the best place for tutorials in my opinion is u tube. It certainly has helped me learn my new software, and picked up loads of info on embroidery too. Also the more knowlegeable Cuties on here are always happy to help. This is just one of many links for pfaff creative 2.

Just want to say Welcome. Ask any question you have and someone will most likely know the answer. I learned so much just from reading other Cuties posts and answers. I had no support since I bought a used machine either.

Welcome and good luck with the new machine. My sister in Van also bought one. She has had one lesson but will be signing on for machine embroidery class. When I bought my Bernina thought I would never get the hang of it and now I don't want to do anything else. Ehjoy your machine and enjoy Cute.

Hi Gramsof2, I have a Pfaff Creative 2170. It's not that new, prabably a 2007 model. Didn't get any of the lessons, as I live out of the city too far. Just try a few things, simple and learn as you go. The video on you tube may be helpful and ring the people at your sewing shop [where you purchased machine]
