Hi Gerry, it's the 1st anniversary of my Dad's death on the 5th (Monday) but he actually died on Father's Day last year - so tomorrow will be dedicated to him. It's Father's day here in Australia tomorrow.

My Dad passed away in 1983 - he was a sweetheart and I miss him too! How lucky we were to have "loveable" Dad's!! Hugs, Laura

I imagine you were the greatest daughter your Dad could have wished for. You are very special. God bless you. My Father died 1 year ago July.....sigh, although he lived with us for 2 and half years after Mom passed away, the relationship was lacking. I wish every day that we could have talked and connected better. He was a closed book and left me with many an unturned page. Now I talk to him in my head and tell him how sorry I am that life made him so hard, and hopefully he is at peace now with my very special, ever-loving, gentle spirited Mom.xxxx

Thank you, Gerry, for posting these wonderful sayings. And thank you especially for the one about fathers, I hope you have as wonderful memories of your dear father as I do of mine. If not for him, I would not be the person I am today. Bless you, especially today, and as his birthday was today, you can still celebrate the fact that he was born, and lived, and gave you life and love, even though he was taken from you too soon.
