Here is a FSL Doily - I thought it stitched out very dense - I enlarged it for the 5x7 hoop. This was a freebie from ABC Designs.

Marvelous work
Shirlene, did you keep the same number of stitches when you have enlarged?

I prefer this one. I appreciate your try in different size for it. Very usefull for us.
Shirlener, I would like to know how you can enlarge this FSL design (every where I read you must not enlarge FSL design...). Do you do so with your soft (I have Embird) or directly on your machine. Do you start with the 4x4 design or with the 5x7 one? do you use encrease % ?
I have this design both for 4x4 & 5x7 size and one day (too many familly problems now) would like to give it a try... all is good to learn! My larger hoop is 8x8.
I have some other FSL coaster too dense that I stitch with the same dense problem.
Thanks

Thanks! Most design loose something when you enlarge them - but this one - didn't - I just wanted to test it out - just to see. I did the enlargement - in my layout and editing embroidery program. Most designs I would not do this to. *4U

I would not have thought to do this Shirlene. It came out great. Good for you. This gives more detail to the design. How big is this doily now?
