OK well i tried to stitch out this design but didn't have any idea how to get this hat in my 4x4 hoop so I had to reduce the design, which wasn't at all brilliant to start with, but it turned out OK. What it says is: "All these flowers are for you my friend!!!" which is why i wanted it for my avatar so i'm always giving you all flowers even when i'm not logged in. Design is from Embroidery Friend.

It looks good the way you have done it Meganne, another time you could try hooping your sticky then work inside the top of the hat attached to the sticky. The rest of the hat would be up in the air around the hoop, if you get my meaning. Or did you mean that the design was too big for a 4 x 4 hoop. *4U no matter !!!

Thnx, I'm still new to this embroidery caper so not game to try adhesives, but I did secure some with pins yesterday & thought if only i'd have tried that with the hat it may have worked. LOL! hugs n roses, M
