Finally finished embroidering all those scanties i bought. Who needs frilly lace when you can have functional cotton with such pretty embroidered designs.

This one is only a freebie from EmbroideryisFree.com, not brilliant but effective. thanks for peeking. M

Meganne, I am from Texas so I had to look up the word "scanties". haha But, I now know that someone will be wearing butterflies on their bottom!! I really like these - you did a great job. I agree cotton is great. *4U Sue

It's an old word from a different era and probably more English, sounds quaint doesn't it? hugs n roses, M

Thx Elen, it was difficult finding colours for such a dark green background & in this pic it's really hard to distinguish the yellow from the green. hugs n roses, M

What a wonderful idea! When it comes to embroidering on garments, this is the cheap way to go. <G> I can't wait to get started. Now, on to choosing my new undie designs...

I like cotton scanties better than all those nylon ones, besides i couldn't find any others in the style i like. Just a hint, if the fabric has elastine in it you will need to stretch the garment in the hoop otherwise the embroidery will prevent them from stretching to fit snugly. :-} hugs n roses, M

I still don't know what you mean by scanties but the embroidery is nice and colourful

Take a closer look and blush my dear. It is a play on words, or another word for her panties. Not everyone will show their panties on the net for the world to see like meg lol *4U ><>

I have done this only once and did not work out very well (not even good enough to post a flop for me). Very pretty design. what stabilizer did you use? I need to use something different than I did. *4u for showing off ur scanties :p ><>

Hi Joanie, i used medium cutaway and really stretched them in the hoop because of th elastine content. trick is picking less dense designs. Hugs n roses, M

Thing is I don't have that many people i can embroider for, 2 sons, no daughters, one sister who's downsizing, a DIL who only likes plain white, an MIL who says she doesn't want more 'things', i'm just going to have to adopt some daughters... LOL! hugs n roses, M

Well, I surely have enjoyed your cotton nickers! Now, if you wear a pair of pants that are a little bit too tight, you'll have a decorated bottom? Will the embroidery show thru? Think I'll have to try a pair!
