I stay at my cousins, still in the city and they come every night to sleep on the lake. Social Group it seems! They honk each others flocks into after dark and out at first light. LLDS! christine

Love ~ Love ~ Love the picture. My maiden name was Gease and I have several items with geese on them. The name changed several times from Geese, Geise, etc. over the years and my father's family came to the United States by way of England.

We live above a river and have resident geese all year. They just dropped in several years ago probably while migrating and stayed.
by noah 10 Sep 2011
Wow thats cool do nobody hunt them for food there???wow missy Gueese i see you must have gotten teased lots lol hugs carolyn
by capoodle 10 Sep 2011
Nope never teased but a few did call me goose and super goose for a very short period of time. And to think my kids nicknamed me capoodle. lol The geese come up in our field but never thought about them for dinner but have considered the wild turkeys.

Lovely picture , Carolyn. I wish ours here were flying south. We have enough that stay all winter and never leave. They are everywhere. We have goose poop on sidewalks and some parks are covered in it. So tell them not to stop here. HEHEHE!!!! Hugs Lynn
