Today I got a pishing-mail that looks like it came from amazon. There as nothing attached but there was a link and they asked me to follow and login cause somebody had tried to crack my account. On the website of amazon there are some good advices how to uncover them (go over the link with the cursor and you see the webadress where you will land and that was not amazon!). So please be careful and wary all the time...

If you got an suspicious mail send it to:
stop-spoofing@amazon.com cause so they can try to catch those people.

If somebody hacks into a friend's mail account and used their address book to send you mail, be sure to tell the friend so he/she can change their password. Then the hacker would have to do it all over again. I had it happen and now use a long password that is almost impossible to figure out.

It is best for the friend to change e-mail addresses not just passwords. I have a friend who has been hacked several times on the same address, and has changed the passwrod several times as well. Finally changed her e-mail address and it stopped.
