I am impressed, I got some round hoops from my dealer that were made by Durkee. He only had 3 so I got on-line and order them from Durkee in the US. They arrived in just over a week. But silly me I ordered the wrong ones. So I emailed them and They were so quick to respond and very helpful. instead of me sending them back they are going to send the brackets (which is the only difference) for the correct hoop and only charging me the difference in price between the wrong one and right one + postage obviously. But I don't have to send them back and wait forever to get the correct ones.

It's really encouraging, isn't it, when you get this kind of service. That's fast shipping, too. It takes a week for anything to get from Canberra to here!!!

I tried Durkee about a year ago for commercial hoops. I had always purchased from Melco and the prices there are staggering for hoops. I checked Durkee and the 9" square that I needed was about 1/3 the cost of the same size hoop at Melco. It looked quite different from what I was accustomed to but decided that I would give them a whirl. If I hated the hoop at least I would have tried. If I liked the hoop I knew I had found a 'real money saving' supplier for myself.
I received the hoop and I, of course, took one look at it and thought that doesn't look like I will like it. Tried it and WOW I loved it. I think it may even be better than my Melco hoops. There are several others now that I wish I had purchased from Durkee because I would have saved hundreds of dollars.
I received the hoop very quickly with no damage. It was well packaged. I am now a Durkee customer.
I had to be very careful in determining which type to order because of the brackets. There were two types for Amayas, one with notches and one without. Fortunately I did make the right choice. They probably have order mixups like that all the time from customers and so are accustomed to the exact situation you described.
I am glad you have mentioned Durkee. Everyone will benefit from knowing about them.
