You know I can do so many things but these frighten me same as Hardanger and Quilting. Frightened I will cut the wrong way.

A socklion. Saw some books on sock animals today for those single sicks we all seem to get. One of the books came complete with some pairs of socks. I love this lion he is beautiful

Wish I had a book, so I could make other animals.
There was a picture of one on the cover using socks with toes so the animal had many ears. Next time I am in town I will look for the names of the books and let you know

These toys are made from a pair of socks. In South Australia we can buy them from a discount shop called "Cheap as Chips". Not sure where you get them in other places.

Lynn I took the names of the books while in town today * Make your own stupid sock creatures pub Lark Books * Stray sock sewing by Daniel pub David & Charles. I have looked on Amazon UK and they are there, infact Daniel has written more than one. As its late I am off to bed and will look further later today as its today already at 1am

Thank You. Had a friend here yesterday and she said she had borrowed one from the Library. She is going to check it out for me. Thanks for thinkng of me.
There are loads of books on Amazon - I couldn't resist so I've just ordered one. We'll have a whole menagerie soon!
