this is my 8 y/o grand-daughter Lauren. She made this cushion, embroidery 7 all for her Mum for Mother's day

That sounds good to me Lauren, you keep going with the embroidery and you will never, ever be bored and gain a very interesting skill too. I think you have a lovely ne-ne to do that for you.

That is a beautiful cushion!! Your Mum will cherish it for always!!! How wonderful that you have learned to sew - great skill to have. Wish my daughter wanted to learn (she is 28 years) and I know she has NO interest in learning. (I have asked her over and over!) Keep on sewing and learning. *4U Sue

Very nice, what a lovely gift for her Mom. I had my 9 yr. old gr-daughter and my 6 yr. old great gr-daughter over about a month ago and one made a pillow and the other embroidered a towel, it was so much fun. Your gr-daughter did a beautiful job. I think it is important for the kids to be involved in sewing, etc. Thanks for sharing.
