I've never used it, but this question has come up before and that's how I found out about it and now I want to get some. When you do embroidery on items to be worn (especially for little ones) this is ironed on the the back to cover the stitching so it doesn't scratch the wearer.

doesn't scratch.
Meganne had answered this not long ago, but I have it marked but of course with the site construction I can't check back yet.

OK.. here's my tuppence-worth.

After the last discussion on Cloud Cover I ordered 2 yards x 60" of Cloud Cover from shoppersrule.com and it is in transit right now.

It cost me $3.86 a yard and $5.80 shipping to South Australia by Fedex..... total cost - US$13.52.

Compared with the Floriani Dream Weave Fusible that I bought two years ago at the Melbourne (Aust.) Craft Fair, at 3 yards x 30" and costing $50, the Cloud Cover is a real bargain. Floriani is good but those people who use Cloud Cover speak very highly of it.

You'll have to do your own sums here to get your answer.... :}

Ordered the same, same price for shipping as well and mine's in the mail too. Can't wait to have a look at it. At the moment I'm just using the thinnest quality Vilene I can get.

Cloud Cover on sale right now at shoppersrule.com at. 3.86 a Yard. I think that this is a very good price. I received mine and it feels so soft. Haven't used it yet, but with a Great-Grandchild on it's way I am sure I will find lots of uses for it.

Thanks. My great granddaughter arrived early. Still 2 more days till she was supposed to arrive and she's already over a month old! She's one of the reasons I want to get some.
