Lbrow/Lillian-Update Thanks everyone. Having a lot of pain in Rt. arm & numbness. Dr. tells me after tests I have pinched nerves in neck. PT, heat, NSAIDs & pain meds for 2 weeks. If no improvement an MRI & surgery. In the meantime, Ron having lot of pain in abdoman. Er Mon. morn, endoscopy on Tues then CT scan. Nodule found on Liver. Colonoscopy is due this Wed. and more tests.
They are thinking the worse because of his history of colon Ca. Me, I'll just wait & see before I tell him all this. I just have to keep trusting in the Lord. I love you all/Lillian

My prayers are with you, dear friend. You certainly get things by the shovelful, don't you. I know you're an RN, but about your neck, would you consider a chiropractor before you go whole hog for surgery? If you find a good one, he'll tell you if he can help or not once he sees x-rays, mri, etc. Cutting on back/neck is so scary, and sometimes does no good. I love you, don't want you to feel worse! Pray about it, anyway. I hope things will get better for you both. Big hugs, Marji

Surgery has advanced in many ways. Thorasoc Outlet syndrome is one where the surgery is still dangerous. There are so many nerves going through from the neck down the arm. PT and maybe cortisone shots would be my first choice over surgery. I have had a lot of success with the shots. christine LLDS!
