Dear Cuties, yesterday was my dear friend Cathy went to her Maker. After 5 years of cancer treatments and 2 1/2 months of Hospice Cathy is now at peace in in no more pain. I have treasured walking this journey home with her and her family. I am very sad right now and this last week I have spent most of my time by her side and with her family. I am spent and at loss. She left this world just as she would have wanted. Sunday night I had alone time with her and then on Monday night she was alone with her siblings. Tuesday night she was alone with her children and on Wednesday night she was alone with her husband. She died with her husband holding her hand at 4:00 am on Thursday Morning. How precious for Chuck. Cindy B.

Thank you Chris. We are planning the funeral tomorrow. The family has asked me to be a part of the choral group that will sing.

Cindy you will have those memories of being there thru good times and hard ones. Have gone thru this same thing with a very dear friend of almost 50 years, but the memories are there every day, I hear her laughter and remember so many great times we had together, as will you remember your times with Cathy ...take care and God bless...hugs Glenda x0x0x

She is now at peace. She is without pain. She is with her maker. You have been a wonderful friend staying at her side as she was asking you to do. Now it is time to take care of yourself. I know that is what she would want for you. Hugs to you.

It's never easy. It's always hard on those left behind. Just remember you did what you could to help her and it was appreciated. You will probably miss her for a long time to come, but the memories will get you through.
We are all with you in spirit.
Hugs - Linda.

I know how tough this has been on you Cindy! Just realize you did all you could for Cathy, and she loved you dearly for being there for her during this most difficult time. No greater way to go than spending those last moments with the ones you love most!! May the Lord grant you peace of mind and heart knowing He is taking good care of Cathy now!!

Oh, my, how sad! And one of the hardest things is yet to come, what to do with yourself in the time you would have been with her. Caring for someone as you did, both caring as in loving and caring as taking care in hospice, it is sometimes so difficult to "put it down", because it was so important. Just something I know from experience. "What the heck do I do with myself now?" Hard even to give yourself permission to laugh, have a good time. Find a way, because Cathy is surely laughing with her maker now. So hard to see it, but what a gift! The gift of time to settle with family & friends, say what needs to be said, slip from life to Life holding her husband's hand. Hang in there precious friend of your friend, talk to us as you need to. Right now I miss the PM thing a lot. If you want, my e-mail is marjialexa@myway.com. I will listen, and may even respond. Big hugs, Marji
