??? temp, would say a little over handwarm but not boiling hot. warm water tab is fine for me think it is about 70C

I just put it in ordinary tap water i.e from the cold tap and that works fine for me.

I use slightly hot tap water, rinse till you see all the openings clear to have it stiff, longer to have it softer.

If its a fabric like Solvy I use luke warm but the heavier type like Badge I use very warm to hot. Badge does take quite a while to dissolve therefore the hot as I'm pretty impatient and always have something else going on too. Actually do what you want the results will be the same....great FSL!!!

I do not vilene left in my peices so I soak for longer periods with hot water, when it cools I dump I load again. It takes 3 times to get most of it out. Bagmaster or 2 layers of ULTRA will take a lot longer. also make sure you remove your tear away during that process! Live Laugh Download Stitch! christine

i use warm water and leave it till i see it is all gone but not hours or you lose your stiffness .I like it to be stiff when it is dryed so it holds its shape well hugs carolyn

Great advise here, I was watching "Quilting Arts" on TV, and one of the guests had trouble with the Solvy plugging up her pipes. She now does the job in a basin and dumps out the water outside, so not to damage her pipes. Has anyone else had this problem?
