Just a word of warning, if you buy from designs by sick on ebay you now have to pay $7 shipping charges, not so if you buy direct from them. Ouch! there goes my buying power to pay shipping....

You also have to be careful in buying. We ordered something and checked the rating of the person. The rating was high and we got took. Never got the item. We used paypal and are hoping to get our money back. After contacting ebay we got a letter notifying us that the person may be fraudulant.

I got an email from another eBay embroidery seller saying that eBay was requiring them to mail out their files instead of electronic delivery- and requiring shipping charges. Blame eBay, not SiCK.

I'm not blaming 'sick' just passing on a shocking revelation. Had I known I never would have bought on ebay. i had sent and email to them a week or so ago and got a reply that there was no 'shipping charge' on email delivery and then wham. I'm paying $7 each item. Which is twice what I would have paid on sick's site to being with. Oh well we live and learn, guess I'll stay a little further away from ebay from now on.

Have you emailed them about possibly refunding your shipping charge? It seems unfair that you asked, was told one thing and then was charged another.

shipping and handling charges are not unusual, especially on site that offer great price for value. Just watch for it so you are not caught unaware. I have been there, too. It is painful.

The shipping charge only applies if you order your designs on a CD and have it shipped. They will e-mail your designs for free. I have purchased from them both directly and on eBay. Sometimes the eBay prices beat the website. Like right now they are running 99cent auctions.

Oh My, I just went to their ebay site and you may be right. I didn't see anything about electronic downloads anymore. I just bought from that site a couple weeks ago and got my designs by e-mail.

If you buy regulary from them you can pay 32.50 for a year for both of her sites but it's only for a short time that you can get that deal

I just found this statement on designs by Juju.

****PLEASE NOTE****

On March 24, 2008, Ebay announced a new policy banning the sale of products that are available with email delivery via zip files, which is the main delivery method we used to offer in our auctions. It is permissible to sell them on physical media such as CD or DVD. Therefore, all of my auctions and Buy it Now store items will be available on CD only. In an effort to keep shipping costs down to you, we are only charging $2.00 for shipping/handling. CDs will be mailed via regular USPS mail with delivery confirmation. If you would like Priority Mail shipping, the cost is $6.95 for shipping/handling. CD's will be shipped within 1-2 days of receipt of payment. Please do not ask us to email designs purchased through our auctions and Buy it Now listings.

Ebay's new policy only allows machine embroidery designs with delivery via email zip files in Classified ad listings.

If your seller was charging you $7.00 for mailing a CD, it's highway robbery, and I would state that on his feedback.

Thank You for the info. I have never bought any sick designs on Ebay. I however buy quite a few from the site direct. If you watch for the sales and Happy hour you can get good bargains and I haven't had any trouble with their designs. A flower for you.
