I have pirate day often...I bought a wooden treasure chest at JO ANNS and I make a pirate map or clue and my grandchildren love finding and reading the clue and eventually finding the treasure.I'll find a picture later

I wanna hear the whole story! What happened to the pirate? Was there a damsel in distress? Is there an Aussie Story? Lots of pirates down there? We can put it to your designs... christine LLDS!

Ahoy!! there, me hearties.
http://www.talklikeapirate.com/songs1.html
I've tied down t' futtock shrouds
polished up t' plank
Hung me vest on t' yard-arm,
'tis a shame that it stank.
I've mended me eye-patch,
Gimme pet rat a pat,
Aye, 'n notched up me peg-leg
so it don't lay me flat,
An' fed me old parrot-mate,
'tis a wily old bird,
can swear like a sea-dog
like ye've never heard.
Avast ye, me mateys,
T'morrer's t' day
Us'll set sail an' leave
For a plunderin' fray.
So hone up yer cutlass
an' feed on hard tack,
Roll out yon hogshead
'n fill yer black jack.
Fer t'morrer's t' day
t'at could be a real shocker,
An' ye could all end up
In Davey Jones's Locker.
Yo ho ho ho,
I found me some rum;
I'm drinkin' in the eagle's nest
and sittin' on me ..... hic.....

Thankyou, sewfrenzie, for a whole lot of fun yesterday. I shall remember September 19 (actually 20 here) forever.
Now, of course, I shall resume my normal, cultured, genteel English/Irish 'accent' in quietly-controlled ladylike tones......... smile........
