Dear Friends today was the funeral Mass for my friend Cathy. What a wonderful celebration. I was asked to be a reader and also sang with a musical group that Cathy had been a part of for many years. Our women's group sang "Bless you my sister, Bless you on your Way", this song is song at the end of our women's weekend every year. My friend Robin sang the Ave Maria by Schubert in Latin. Bag pipes played Amazing Grace leading the family into church, and again played another song as every one processed out of church. Yes she was Irish and we had an Irish toast to Cathy after dinner with Irish Whiskey.
