HI LENAMAE, I am sorry that you are also feeling so depressed! I am sure that it is as you say, the state of the world in general and finances being very tight. You hand in there love and as you say keep busy! Not sure that pills are the answer, they do help I suppose but cost as well!!
I have had so much kind support from Cuties and I am sure you will get too.
Stay strong girl, somedays you will be Tigger and somedays Eeyore!!!!

There are so many negative things happening that we have no control over it is hard not to be depressed at times. When feeling of depression come over me I will call or visit family or friends, and if not that I wander outside and look at the beautiful trees, flowers and Gods many small creatures. These things are helpful for me. Wishing all that have depression the best. Hugs!!
