Just going through the projects & came across Mariahail's lovely Angel 'dangly' earrings. I posted these quite some time ago but thought you might like to see a 'stud' version of earrings with a 'post and butterfly' fixing back. They are embroidered in metalic threads (turquoise & variegated.) The earrings are the centre of the brooch. The design is from Sectrets of Embroidery FSL Bows (APE 585) Bow 002. With Christmas approaching, both Maria's and these, would make lovely gifts.

What's the secret Jean that you can do all this with
metallic threads? I can usually do about 6 stitches
before the thread breaks, and so it goes on !! This
is very nice, makes a nice set. *4U Pat.

I don't think I have one Pat - I use a needle for metalic thread and don't usually have a problem. I did loads of cards at Christmas using it.

I had a hard time too until I bought the METAFIL brand, and they are super. No breakage at all with them.

Nice set, I love the colours. Clever to use the centre of the design for the earrings.

Thanks Mops - yes, using the centre of bow worked well for earrings, just right size.
