I have a customer who always brings towels and matching washers. I just do the name a bit smaller on the washer or you could put initials in the corner.

Yes and also smaller or if the monogram had for instance a flower with it I would only do the flower.

I must be a lone wolf! I don't do the face cloth as I don't like to have anything scratchy on my face. I do the bath towel & hand towel. I DID put the initials very small on the wash cloth for nieces that were going off to college & needed to have their linens marked.

I don't do the face cloths either, just a matter of preference.

I do many face cloths for small gifts. I just make sure the design is small. Sarah.

I usually put just the intial of the last name and in a smaller font than the towels. Becky

A small design like a tiny dove with a twig in its beak, or a tiny set of wedding rings. Any small design that will match the designs on the larger towels will do.

I do for myself, and they are just for show, to make the bathroom look pretty. I don't like embroidery on a face cloth to actually use.

gee, I haven't heard a face cloth called a "flannel" since my Dad died in 1979.
Thank you for the memories. :-)

Yes but very small as to not interfer with face washing.

I have also made small tags on the wash clothes with their initials so that the whole cloth can be used...

I love to put that little extra design in the corner of the wash cloth. Everyone seems amazed at that special touch, and really, it just takes a few more minutes. It looks really pretty folded on top of the towels so the design shows diagonally on the corner. Just make sure you put it on the corner opposite the tag :-)

I have to go along with the others, something small in a corner, but I do like to crochet an edging right around, finishing off with a good loop. Done in a colour to match the design done on the rest of the set. hugs n roses, Meganne

I do a small design or initial that matches the larger towels in the corner, too. I like the look and hanging in the bathroom, really makes a finished set. Make sure you choose the corner opposite of the tag!
