4-H sewing starts up again this eve. I am going to work with the kids making aprons to start. GD wanted to have something Christmasy for "when we make cookies". She just makes my day!

There is so much fun stuff kids can make now. I just discovered hot dog pillow case. They can make pillow case dresses for themselves and for kids in Africa. So much cool stuff. And so lucky to have YOU as their leader.

It was a wonderful meeting with 7 young ladies. I showed how to lay out the pattern pieces on the fabric and cut according to the directions. They were so enjoyable. It should be a great year!

Please keep up your good work with the kids. I have
good memories of my days in the 4 H Club. I started
out making an apron. I lived on a farm and we had
plenty of feed sacks. That's what I learned on.
