I'm Granny. 13 yrs. ago when 1st grand daughter came, my daugher started called me granny. At first I thought, "Hey! I'm not old enough to be Granny!" Then realized we called MY mom Granny & she was younger than I was when her 1st grand son was born! Now I love to hear that word!!
I, too, am "Granny"! When my daughter asked what I wanted to be called, I was a bit surprised. She, then, told me she was giving me "first" choice, and she actually hoped I would choose "Granny", as that was what she called my mother. Really sweet on her part, so of course, I agreed!

She is a good baby. In fact she is already sleeping about 6 hrs during the night & is only 4 wks old. Of course, she just has to wimper when everyone's at home & someone comes running! Sisters are 13 & 10 and think they are playing dolls again!!

Gerry, thank you so much - I appreciate this - she is such a darling little girl - so presious - I just want to give her a hug, too. Please give her one from this Grammy who may not have another one to hold for a long while or when I do - it will be a great-grandbaby and I am hoping that takes a long time to happen for my grands sake.
