Has anyone seen a design to make flowers in sections or layers and than you put them together? I think they are stitched on organza or something and made to wear in the hair or attach to head bands? I've been searching without any luck. I don't mind paying for them if they are nice ones.

Thanks
Mary Ann

Perform a Google search for '3d embroidery flower designs' and you will find many sites that have them.

There's lots at SecretsOf. Go to the "store" tab, then to "flowers"..there's several on page one. Also I have several sets from A Bit of Stitch. Am assuming Evy is still up & running. Here's her web site. If not, she's also on Secrets Of.

Hey Mary Ann, You will find some lovely designs at LianeStitch as well as 3D flowers, all for free.
Even though it is a foreign site you will see the "Free Designs" button on the left side of the page, from there it is easy. hugs n roses, Meganne

I suppose you have to search, but I thought in DBC were blue flowers that were made this way.

Emblibrary has a number of designs and a tutorial on how to make them. I just had a look at the tut and found he does them upside-down, which is a nice idea to get them all centered. There's a link to the design at the end of the tut.

You all have been busy over night. The 3d flowers are what I have been looking for. So many sites to check out.

I'm getting ready to hit the road again for the weekend so I will have to check them all out when I get back.

I do have internet on my iphone so I can check in and see what everyone is up to. :)
Thank you all for taking the time to post.

Flowers and hugs for everyone
Have a GREAT weekend!

Take a look at Stitche Delight - I have some of the oder desings - I think she calls them 3D flowers. They are stitched on the organza and the put together.

Thank you all for posting sites for me. Once again, I haven't been able to make comments, or reply to posts. My box to upload photos in the projects file was fixed for a while, but now again it's missing most of the tabs. I'm sure it will all be fixed in time.

Hugs and flowers for everyone
