I forgot to let you know that there are 4 godets in this dress 2 in front and 2 in back. If you look closely you can also see the bow ties that I've put to the front so you can see them. It has a navy pin spot bow and border. I'll do the same dress but line it - this one was meant to be lined too! Oops!

I had a close look and noticed godets and ties; your seams are so flawless you can hardly see them, but I noticed the print more than the actual seams. Thanks for the info, now I know how many panels there are. Great cut!

Thanks Lisa - that is my background. I've been sewing since I was a youngster and did it for 4 years at High School too. I love the looks on their faces when I hand them their clothing. Little Aqualina just loves her Turtle dress. I made two the same but put a Turtle on hers and she always goes to her cupboard and asks for the Turtle dress! Love Chris

The fabric is busy enough not to notice the extra panels. She going to look adorable wearing it. After you get the other one finished maybe you can get a picture of them together.
