Would you like to suggest a name for me please? This is my latest. I wondered about making a lion in Purples and My girlfriend said "Why Not", because the other toys are not the correct colours - so here is my Purple Lion.

Violet - Violetta could work. You might want to ask the very young shoppers what color they would want if they were going to buy one of your sock animals then you will know what color is in demand.

I know a lion is male but many little girls love the color purple.
"Indigo" could work for either a male or female's name.
I am keeping all of the names in my mind as I intend to make a few Lions of various colours.

I think he is Lionel, but made another Orange one last night and I might call him Lenny. Just have to remember all of their names now.

When my DH was still here, we used to own a Fuchsia Nursery and there is a Fuchsia called "Purple Pride". Some names come easily, but I think this one is Lionel.

Sorry there isn't a pattern. It really is just the same as the sock monkey with a few adjustments in shaping. Really the paws should be sewn as well, but I haven't done that to this one.

I have a few different versions of purples so Might keep them especially for lions. The Lions have more Character.
