Hi Monika, I used Flannelette on top and woollen batting (I use it for my quilts). I didn't use any stabliser and only used white through the colour changes. Meg said she did a couple, but it was easier just to sew straight through without changing. Love Chris

Hi Anita, I started off making 4 in my 5x7 hoop and did that a few times. Then this afternoon I put them in my 150x360 and did 9 at a time. I've made 50 of them - I'm just sewing on the Velcro strips (very small!!!!) Love Chris
Think more cuties would make these for her if we were living in Australia. Thanks for coming to her aid and thanks Meganne for the design.

Can you see the open cut - that is where I put a piece of Velcro - one part goes on the top of the left hand side and then under the right hand side I put the opposite piece. So when you put one side onto the other it grips. I hope this makese sense. Love Chris
I see now where the velco goes. That probably was the hardest part of the project.

What are stoma pads used For?

When someone has a bag attached to their body, either for feeding or draining of urinary or faecal waste, they often have to insert a pad between the bag and the skin because any leakage is usually highly acidic and it burns and ulcerates the skin. This was very kind of you. I would have done some, but the postage would have been too much from here. I was looking at them. I bet that they will want to wash these in a pillow case or lingerie bag so they don't go down the hole with the water. Just a thought.

how did you make these? My friends have two children with g-tubes and these look just like the little pads they put around the tube for the leaking. How many layers and do you just hoop all the material at once and then cut them out?
