I see things posted that are not embroidery. Here are some ornaments that were not embroidered, but painted with fleece hats.

I used Acrylic paint from Apple Barrel and FolkArt, then I applied a gloss varnish over just the painted areas. The hats are just fleece sewn in a tube..folded for a brim, and gathered in the back. The Santa hat was just a triangle sewn and the white "fur" is quilt batting. Dog ears are leather.

I got my stands at various places, but mostly at Bronners in Frankenmuth Michigan. You can buy from them on line...Just google Bronners or Frankenmuth Michigan. They are not expensive.
