Christening Dress - I made this dress many years ago, when I was 17th - and all of my children was wearing it when they was baptism and some of my grand-children too, and I have sewing all the name on the back.

That is just beautiful. Such a family treasure. I made my eldest daughters christening gown and all 3 of my children wore it. Fingers crossed for some grandkids to wear it too. xx

What a lovely dress - you were so young to do something this wonderful - congratulations and that you have had it all these years and it has been used by the family traditionally is so speical - thank you so very much for sharing it - can we see a picture of how you have put the names on the back - if you don't mind.

Thank you Shirlene - yes I was always doing something in handwork when I was in school, but this is my favourite - yes I have to take a photo of the back and put it here to show you the names.

beautiful sigrun! -wow-I just realized that I have the one I made for my second daughter-she is now 15 packed away someplace-I will have to see if it's still around. My 1st born-she is now almost 23-had hers bought for us by a couple of our real close friends-it was beautiful.~linda~

Here is the back of this dress(gown) and the names of my children and some of my grandchildren, but not all of my grandchildren was baptism in this dress, my daughter-in-law did sew hers one dress and baptism theyrs children in that dress.
