Sara, thank you so much for updating us - I had wondered if she was ok - just this morning - she has been in my thoughts and prayers - I will continue to pray for her and hubby. Update us - when you can - if she doesn't herself.

Oh Dear please tell Lillian I am so sorry she is in so much pain, I will pray for the injection to do its jobe and relieve the pain as soon as possible.

I am so sorry to hear this. I pray for her speedy recovery.

My sympathy and prayers go to her. I will be having my 3rd steroid injection in my neck next week. I sincerely hope it helps her and quickly. I hope she is being referred to Physical Therapy. It helped me regain function and reduce some of the pain.

I was told to do a million head turns. relax and go left to right and back again... again, again! also to relax the nerve going down the right arm, stand with arms extended out to sides - ring finger touching thumb, rotate hand palm up. palm down. Simple and effective... but a million! LLDS! what ever you do - keep using it as much as possible! LLDS! christine Tai Chi is worth looking into!

I just talked to Lillian and she said she was feeling some better but still in pain. They told her that is would take several days before it would reach it full strength on her neck and that she would most likely have to have it done again brfore it would be alot better. When we hung up, she was off to put the clean sheets back on the bed but said Ron would have to help get the corners of the fitted sheet on for her. Sooooo...she is not up to par as of yet! She did sound better than when we talked several evenings ago. Lillian is strong willed and she will never give up although she is having to take it easy right now. Of course she is worried about getting behind right here at Christmas. I do not think she is able to sit down at a machine and do any work right now but believe me, she is not going to lay in the bed and feel sorry for herself! As soon as she is able, she will be back doing all of the lovely work that she always does! It may take some time but Lillian is a caregiver and it is way down deep in her veins! She will always be doing for others as long as the Lord will give her the strength!

We all need to join together and pray for her and her hubby, Ron. He has not been out of the hospital very long either. Right now I think they are trying to help each other. By the way, she does have family and good friends that are pitching in some to help them. I do not think she is feeling real great right now but prognosis is looking better in the future for Lillian. Tks for the update Sara! Praying the pain is relieved soon! I have had a nerve block for leg pain and it worked!!! Yes, it does wear off...but I'm still good MONTHS later. Tell her to hang in there!!!
