I have just arrived home from a Baby shower. There were the usual games that Ladies play. One which would have looked so funny to an outsider. The expectant father melted 6 different chocolate bars then smeared them onto 6 different nappies. We had to guess which chocolate bar was smeared onto which Nappy (Diaper).

This would have been different. I am a chocolate lover but not sure how I'd go with this one. How did you fare with it?

I don't know the different types of chocolate bars so I didn't do so well.

I have never been to a baby shower, dont think they happen in my bit of the universe. Personally when there are so many starving in the world I find it very sad when food is wasted. Just what does happen at a baby shower and did you enjoy the game?

I don't think the food was wasted as there wasn't that much of the chocolate bar in the Nappy. I did ask where the bars were and the Expectant Father said they were up in the cupboard. There was a lot of catching up with friends and meeting new friends. Lots of Laughter .

Again looking from the outside - seeing Ladies smell the inside of a Nappy( Diaper). Not something you would do everyday.

No! I don't eat chocolate bars so had no idea what they were. Someone added a chocolate bar from New Zealand, so no one knew what that one was.

We have played that game before. You are right looking from the outside is funny. The last baby shower I was at I had the women to put paper plates on their heads and gave them a crayon to drawn what they think the baby will look like. Then one of the husbands came in.... well yes he was laughing so hard, then everyone was laughing. It was really fun. DeVon

A Couple of the other games were. Each person was given a piece of tie and with that you had to cut the tie to the length tat would fit around the Mother to be and her Bump. I won that one as I cheated. I went up to her and put my arms around her first

We freeze those tiny plactic babies in ice cubes. Put one in each persons drink....and when the ice cube melts someone shorts out " my water broke" and wins a prize..fun

I have seen the chocolate mess in the nappy before and somewhere I was at they even put different flavors of pudding in the diaper.

When is her baby due to make an appearance?
There was also a book for us to fill in. We had to add. The Sex of the Baby, The weight, date and the time and also a Name.
The Baby is due on the 21st November but she is very small and the baby is very low down so I don't think she will go full term. I said - A Girl - 19 Nov and 6lb 3 ozs. Will not name it.
