Just to find out what other Cuties think. I am making guest towels for my daughter to sell at a charity market. Apart from a design, should I write the word 'GUEST'. I thought it might look a bit tacky. What do you think? Sarah.

Personally I do not like guest, I prefer welcome, or
no wording at all just a design,
Good luck

I also would not write "Guest"; but if you do want words; than something funny like "use me.." :-)

I think the word, "Welcome" with a decorative frame
or flowers will work great! (Or, "Home, Sweet Home", with rocking chair and flowers)

I think the word Guest is appropriate only if you are having a party, or a lot of people in your home and you wish them to know which hand towels they should use. Otherwise a nice design is far more useful because in some homes a 'Guest' might never be used.

Thank you for your input - no words, just something pretty.

I would also never use the word guest.I feel you could use his or hers.
Or use a nice design. good luck to your daughter

My mother in law was the queen of the social crowd, and always had everything "just so". Her guest towels were fancy and decorative, but never had any wording on them. I don't know enough people to entertain like that. :)
