I bought some new Robison-Anton thread, called Sparkle Swirl Embroidery thread from shoppersrule.com It is a combination of metallic and a color. Came in a set of 6 spools for $14.59. The only thing that I have stitched so far is the "Moon" toilet paper cover that has been posted in projects. Here is a close up of the stitches. Did any one else buy this thread and what do you think of it? It is the purple/ gold combimation only. Kay

I like the thread. I also like this design. I made a quilt square last year with it.

Interesting, I though it was new. I plan to experiment a little with it as it is a whole new dimension. Thank you for your comment!!

Well for some reason the link is not showing up so when you get to Embroidery Designs.com type in Halloween Full Moon in the search box & it will come up with 2 sizes.

It was so cute I had to buy the bigger size with the wording. I love it. Will put it on a sweat shirt

I love the sparkle threads, they are so versatile. I have not seen that make here in S.A., but I use a lot of metallics. Just love it. I like the design as well, will be nice on a toiletrollholder. I hope somebody knows where to find it. ***

I can say one thing, I did get my laugh for the day! Kay always looks just like she has just stepped out of a fashion catalog and this just not fit the picture of, "What you see is what you get"! I do talk to her daily and I did not get a shock but I did have to laugh. She looks prim and proper all of the time but looks can be deceiving........ We love you Kay! I sure do wish we had known each other as teens! Everyone that knew me, always expected the unusual out of me. NO, I never got into trouble but I did have a good time...and I still do.

My comment dissapeared!

Kay always looks prim and proper, dressed to the nines and no one that does not know her would expect this from her. Thanks so much for my daily good laugh! Linda

Interesting. My machine hates metalic thread but I wonder if it would like this thread better. Thanks for sharing. xx

Might be worth trying. It definitely has a completely different look. I can't wait to try the other colors. if you are having trouble with Metallic , be sure to slow your machine down.

That is funny. My aunt would get a kick out of that design, as would my daughter and son in law. I'm still laughing. I love it. :)

I remember seeing this design before but did not remember where I saw it. Thanks for the laugh. I needed it today. New job is kicking my but long hours and it is fast paced most of the time. I would like to find the thread set I think. I have not tried any of the metallic thread yet. But now you got my curiosity going. Sara
