I DID IT!!!! I finally took some time for myself and made all the Monkey ABC blocks. They turned out really cute. I did all the blocks with a stipple design and the monkey on top. I did four corner blocks with just the stipple. Each square with the stipple has anywhere from 13,000 -17,000 stitches. It took me many hours a day for three days, but they are done. Now I will have to search for material for sashing strips and backing. I'm not in any hurry to make the quilt, I just wanted to get the blocks finished.

Isn't it a wonderful feeling when a goal has been achieved!!! I'm sure your quilt will be very lovely when you do finally finish it. I like the idea of the stippled corners to sort of bring it all together as well as balance it all up.

That is pretty cool. I like to keep going once I start a quilt or it gets shuffled to the bottom of the to-do pile and then eventually forgotten. Your font is fantastic. Doe it have a special someone as a recipient, or did you just like the font? :)
Wouldn't it be fun to have banana fabric for the sashing and binding? Or branches. Enjoy your project and post pictures when you get finished.

I didn't post this in the projects because I have had problems with my tabs in the projects, and I can't always load photo's or leave comments there. This started happening after the upgrade, so I thought I would post it here.
