Shake, rattle, and roll in the San Fransisco area. We had a 4.0 this afternoon and just had 3.9 too. Nothing fell down, no one is hurt so far.

It was felt from Sausalito to Santa Cruz (that includes San Fransisco) and it was centered near Berkeley.

Since you have several a year in your area is there any warning system? You must have everything bolted, nailed, glued, and museum puddled in place.

You would think. But my front doors that were just painted are balanced in the garage. Fortunately they didn't fall.
It sounds like there is glass in those doors. We have had a few lately and it is quite a surprise each time. Do you have pets or know of those with pets that act different before a quake happens?
