My college-age twin sons and their two buddies are going to a Halloween party as "Top Gun" guys and want me to stitch their names on a narrow badge(or patch) about 1 1/2 by 3 inches or so. Has anyone seen anything around this size? I have Embird basic and studio and wish I knew how to just make a patch. Any suggestions on premade or how to do it? Thanks, Laura

Could you not just use 1.5 in. Twill tape? You could get it in the drapery dept. is used for blinds, you would have to take it apart, but it wouldn't be hard. If you can't digitize the names, let me know and I will do it for you.

I should have added that you would cut it a bit longer and turn the short edges in when stitching on.
They also make a wide twill tape to finish rugs off with...can be bought in a fabric store in the decorator dept.

What about the iron on patches for repairs? You could cut to size,and embroider, they only need for one night..could be lightly ironed on and then pulled off if need be.

That is a good idea - they were going to fabric glue on the patch as it was. They wanted it to look like a framed patch. I appreciate your help! Laura*

I believe that fivestarfonts.com has a rectangular shape. I did a name on webbing, like is used for bag handles. Good lick with it!
