Laura, these turned out wonderful - I am sure they will add to the costumes and made the guys look official. *4U

Thank you, Shirlene!! I am suggesting that they get some Fabric Tac to glue them on. Out of my 4 children these two are the ones that cannot sew!! LOL! Hugs, Laura*

These are nice. Are you going to do a long zig-zag stitch to hold them on?

They are far away from me right now - at Michigan State University - so I will mail them out and suggest Fabric Tac. Hugs, Laura*
Send them needle and thread and tell them to do a running stitch around. Be interesting to see what they would choose the glue or the needle and thread. lol
They would "without a doubt" choose the glue!! However, when, I see them again - I intend to show them how to handsew a straight stitch and how to sew on a button!! LOL, Laura

I like the patches. My sister gave me a denim shirt/jacket that has the name of the cancer center she used to work at emb. on it. Since she doesn't work there anymore she passed it on to me and thought that maybe I could emb a patch to go over the emb name of their workplace. I haven't decided on what to use.-T

This rectangular applique came from Five Star Fonts - I believe it was a free design. I just put tear away stabilizer down, the basted two layers of white twill. Did the applique cut away and I did run the last stitch-out twice around the edges.
