My little niece Julianna is one year old and she is spending a few days with me, she loves little pieces of lace, pretty fabrics, spools of thread and everytime I am in front of my sewing or embroidery machines, she brings me a roll of stabilizer...I think she is learning !!!!!

The little ones are so precious at this age. It makes looking after her easier that she is watching you. Maybe you could make her up a little tote bag and put in some sewing stuff for her to play with.

My little ones would sit quietly, while I stitched, playing with the empty thread spools, stacking them. That was the years of "wooden" spools! My girls are grown now! Gee, I miss those days! Enjoy her; they grow up way too fast!!
