Hi, I hope it isn't true! If it is, it is really sad that there are people that will go out of their way to spoil things for others

If some people have nothing better to do than sitting in front of their PC (like me now *lol*) and create false identities to manipulate votings I'm really sorry for them. Maybe there is another forum who is envious on us? ;o)

Why would anyone go to so much trouble just to get a free design when you can buy a subscription and get EVERY design here for less than 5 cents each.

I think it sounds like sour grapes on the other forum trying to turn people off CuteE. Maybe that person was one of the troublemakers that Miss Veronika removed from here in the past for stirring up trouble here?????????

Yes this happened at first at Design by Sick, I left there because of them.Design by sick discovered this and to their credit put a stop on it somehow to manipulate their site I believe. those same people now organise cute a lot of the time.They must be very sad people and lonely to not have better things to do.Hope miss Veronika also will put a stop to it. If we were able yo 'manipulate the voting system' how come we are repeatedly asked to revote for a set letter over a number of days?

If this is true than my suggestion to these people is

Oh my word, if true what I read in this post, they sure have time and free internet. All I can say is if they then want something that bad to go to that extent they can have it, I surely can do much better with my time.

Having more than one sign-in does is not havig a false identity. I have a second avatar here that I use when I am on someone else's computer. Not that I tell them my password, but just to be sure no one can download more than a daily free design (I have a subscription) I use the other avatar. Not a false identity, just a precaution.

Do you mean they sign in with another name just for one free design? it does not seem worthwhile. I love reading the posts dont always download freebies only the ones I think I will use it does not seem true why go to all that for a design am bemused regards Carol

I doubt it, I barely have time to read cuties posts and give flowers. I am a member of many other forums but I don't get there often. Let alone have time to create multiple sign ins.

Hope this isn't true, but I've heard the same about other sites that allow this to increase the sites ability to win votes. Who has this kind of time?? Perhaps we should all be doing some charity work to use our time, if we have so much excess time and energy.

don't know about that, But i often wondered why we always keeps the 2nd place of Embroiderytop. But it's true what Edith writes how this is on Sick, on the same way they can vote many times with different sign ins. But for me: I like to be here as gerryvb.And i hope this kind of things will not come on Cute.

I would think that in this industry where integrity is the core that there is little of this going on! It is true that statistically a small percentage of people feel the need to outdo anything they come in contact with. I hope there aren't any Cuties so poor that they have to manipulate the system to get what they need. Here we have a scholarship program where they can get it all! I've never asked for help in voting for a free design. I also do not have time or energy to set up more sign in's. I'm on a very tight budget here since my hubby passed away so I wait till a sale comes up for the site and sign up. This is my 3rd or 4th membership, By buying a membership I don't have to miss anyting, I can get it all with my membership. Hope they can be found and taken care of. Membership here is really cheap for 6 months even if it's not on sale. Very sad....

I suppose it's possible. It would take a lot of time and screen names to vote enough. If Veronika wanted to stop it she could allow only one membership or screen name per ip address.

I noticed the voting has been crazy on the sister site , Amazing Embroidery Designs. I wondered if someone one was messing around. I went 8 or ten pages over and saw all these votes on designs not relevant to the current subject. Kay

I'm just adding my 2 cents worth here, but if it were true, the daily freebies would be more than a little wonky with little or no continuity. As for the alphas, I was a little disappointed that the embossed tulip monogram (or was it the estival font?) didn't play out, but I'm also aware that there are members here that have been around a whole lot longer than I have been and have seen many of the alphas come and go several times... and they want to move on to the newer designs. I check in every morning to see what the trend is... if I like it, I snag it, if not, maybe another day. I'm not particularly interested in the train font, so I haven't snagged anything from this site in a while. No big 'boo hoo' coming from this side of the monitor screen. If there is a rogue set of cuties... LOL! that really seems like an oxymoron, but whatever... karma will roll around and bite 'em on the backside eventually.

Oh, I do not think any decent person would go that far for a free design!!! Goodness, we are being spoiled on Cuties by Miss Veronica with lovely fonts and designs for free. Some people are just born trouble makers and they do not even deserve the time of day. I don't have the time to play around and fool others with false identities. What a pity that those people always stir up bad feelings amongst the best group in the world i.e. CUTIES!!!! May Cuties go on for a long-long time. **** to all my friends in Cuties.

As someone else said if these people do exist they need to get busy & sew & embroidery. I have said for quite a few yrs. now. Cute is absolutely the best the internet has to offer with many, many true blue cuties who care. Ms Veronika has always been one of the finest , kindest, generous & giving site owners there is. Once in a while a rotten apple shows up in a bushel you buy but it doesn't stay very long. Having always been a member & having access to every design on cute I feel this is the best most economical way to go. No price can be put on the wonderful comaraderie that we have here on cute, it is priceless for cutes really care about one another and we are here to laugh and cry with one another, help when help is needed help one another celebrate when there is joy in their life. I am glad and proud to be a member of this cute family, it is indeed an honor to be a cute./Lillian
