A GREAT DAY WITH MEGANNE, PAULINE (NONNA57) ME AND MY MUM (PAT)
Thanks girls for a wonderful day at the Penrith Doll, Bear and Craft fair. Meg spent all her money - Mum got lots of bargains. I spent money wisely and Pauline got some lovely goodies! Alll in all a wonderful day and look what appeared in our picture! We weren't allowed to take him home though - he is a NSW fireman!!! Thanks for your hospitality Pauline and to Meg for driving us down there. We left home at 7.15 and I got home at 7.00pm! Love and blessings to you all Chris
Once we saw the picture we realised why everyone around us was laughing so much. He was a real larrikin and a great sport.
Chris, your Mum is a real hoot, I'm so glad she came with us, and between the two of you, the trip down and back seemed only like minutes rather than hours, I haven't laughed so much in ages.
And seeing Polly for the first time in months was just brilliant! I'm looking forward to the day When Ray is finally living up here and he can mind his Mum while I take a day off, on a more regular basis.
It will be so much easier to get away then. :-)
Now to the goodies I bought, well Guipure daisy lace and Guipure lace edging. Gorgeous, no, ABSOLUTELY gorgeous long beaded edgings, (some to trim my Tiffany lamp and some for a doll's skirt, and still more to trim my going green Hessian shopping bags). I also bought some Rose Essential Oil, home made Fig Jam, a Christmas gift (for a friend) that I just couldn't resist, even if it is brown. Then I bought a beautiful, rose trimmed, porcelain revolving music stand, to put a doll on when I knit the beaded skirt for it. That's it for me, I ran out of money. LOL!!!!
Chris' Mum, Pat, bought me a hand made mobile phone case with a gorgeous Tabby cat on it that is almost the dead spit of my Tidgy girl, I'll cherish it always it is so lovely.
If I get time tomorrow I'll take some photo's to show.
Thank you all for such a lovely day, we'll definitely do this again. Hugs and love, Meg
