I have stiched this figure. But do you need to change the robbin color everytime too when the thread needs to be changed ? Now I have one good and one "bad" side. What do you all do ?

Ja, dat is de narigheid met FSL, je moet ook steeds de spoel verwisselen. En bij het volgende borduursel ben ik dan vergeten dat er iets anders dan wit in mijn machine zit...

ja dat is zo. maar het is de eerste keer dat ik FSL probeer (heb ook zonet een kerstbal gedaan - 1 kleur-) en ik vind dit toch ook wel een leuk iets !

If I am doing FSL I always have the bobbin thread the same as the top thread.

I always use the same colour in the bobbin as my top thread with FSL. She looks lovely from the right side, I would use her as an applique. Hope you don't feel bad about the little mishap. Well done. Enjoy your embroidery.****

Sounds as if - you already know what to do - bobbin thread the same as the top on FSL.

paint the back with coloured pens, so that you do not see the bobbin thread.

Personally, I would use Gingerbread color in bobbin for the whole ornament. She wouldn't have a face on both sides in real life!
If you want it reversible, then you'd have to change the bobbin for all colors.
